The American Association of University Women (AAUW) International Fellowships and Development Grants are programs designed to support women around the world who are pursuing higher education and advancing their careers.

The AAUW is a non-profit organization that advocates for gender equity and supports women’s education and leadership.
The International Fellowships program provides financial assistance to women who are not U.S. citizens. Or permanent residents who are pursuing graduate or postgraduate studies in the United States.
The program supports women in all fields of study. Except for medicine and veterinary medicine. The fellowship covers tuition, fees, books, and living expenses for a period of one academic year. Applicants must have earned their bachelor’s degree by the time of application and be proficient in English.
The Development Grants program provides funding to women who are citizens of developing countries who are pursuing education or training that will improve their ability to advance their careers, contribute to their communities, and support women and girls.
The grants range from $2,000 to $7,000 and can be used for tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and must be proficient in English.
